  As we leave 2020 behind and roll into 2021 I am sure there are parents of children all over the UK thinking "What happens now?" especially those waiting on the BTEC decisions. It goes without saying that all parents are concerned, but GCSE & A Level Students know their fate, unlike vocational students As a Psychotherapist working in schools my concern for our future generations is also for their mental health, we have a duty to not only ensure those children and young adults still do their school work, we also have a duty of care for their mental health. COVID-19 is unprecedented my heart goes out to staff and parents alike because poor mental health is often like an Iceberg  what you see on the surface can often be only a very small window into how children and young people are feeling and that Iceberg can get bigger and bigger without help.
